As Ben has mentioned in the past, I support a local charity in Chicago called Girls on the Run – Chicago (GOTRC). We are so excited to share that we are partnering with GOTRC to give away two tickets to their upcoming event, the Run Like a Girl Soirée on October 28! If you’re looking for a fun event or activity in Chicago this fall, keep reading!
Run Like a Girl Soirée
Girls on the Run – Chicago celebrates the more than 60,000 girls it has helped to become strong, healthy women at its annual Run Like a Girl Soirée. All funds raised at the event support GOTRC’s after-school programs throughout Chicagoland.
The Soirée will allow attendees to experience the magic of the Girls on the Run program while enjoying live music, food stations, and drinks, as well as live and silent auctions featuring the best items in sports, fitness, and adventure. Dress code is cocktail attire – sneakers optional!
We have attended the event for the past two years, and it is so much fun! The food is delicious, there’s an open bar and you can dance the night away to great live music!

About Girls on the Run Chicago
GOTRC is a non-profit after school program that uses the power of running to educate and prepare 3rd-8th grade girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. The innovative program combines training for a 5k with life skills lessons that encourage positive emotional, social, mental, and physical development. The program culminates in a 5k event, which gives the girls a tangible sense of achievement as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals, athletic and beyond.
