In exactly three days, my best friend Kristen and I will be jetting off to Paris, France to spend five days walking, shopping, and eating our way through all the best that Paris has to offer. We have visits to the Eiffel Tower, museums and cathedrals planned, along with a bike tour around the Palace of Versailles. I am so excited to dive into a glass of champagne with a plate of cheese when we arrive!
In preparation for our trip, I did a ton of research on what to do and where to eat. To make it easier to find restaurants and other things near where we may be at any given time, I made a map of Paris that we can access on our trip via Google maps. It’s also helpful just to get a sense of where everything is if you’re trying to decide where to book accommodations.
If you’d like to access the map on your phone, select the star next to “Paris” on the top left. Within the Google Maps app on your phone, select the menu button on the top left and select “Your places”. You should be able to find it under Maps now. There are four categories on the map of Paris with different colors and icons: Things to Do, Places to Eat, Places to Drink, and Shopping.
I can’t wait to view Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower and take a stroll along the Seine River. Doesn’t this cocktail bar look fun? And who knew we’d even find a Mexican taqueria in France? (Although I’ll most likely be sticking to French food. :)) What tips do you have for visiting France? Any recommendations we should add?
